The station will be located 2 km from Terminal 4′s Guarulhos International Airport. The terminal is still less busy, compared to Terminals 1 and 2.

The work is part of the construction of Line 13 – Jade, of the São Paulo Metropolitan Trains Company (CPTM), which has a budget of R$ 1.2 billion.

Construction will begin in March 2013 and has a term ending 18 months, so it will be ready just after the World Cup 2014.

Since the station will be away from the two main terminals of the airport, the company is already studying a way to transport passengers to the site through internal transport and comfortable, which can quickly get around the site. Probably a monorail will be built to meet this need.
